W2501A: Abstracted Multi-Media Landscapes
This intensive, dynamic one-day workshop will explore
experimentation with materials and tools, developing
each individual’s own distinctive style and creation of
textured surfaces.
We will simplify the landscape and abstract it while adding
visually exciting elements with a combination of techniques.
Multimedia passages in the paintings will also be welcome.
Using brushes, texturing tools and palette knives will help to create tactility.
A discussion about successes will be at end of day.
Oil or acrylic painting is welcome. Demonstrations will be in acrylic only.
Basic knowledge of painting is recommended. This workshop is suitable for
beginners and experienced artists eager to experiment.
Join us for discovery, excitement and creativity. Transform how you
approach landscape painting as part of your original artistic vision.
