Susan Fisher
Susan has been a professional artist and instructor for all her professional life. A Montreal native, she studied at Concordia University for her BFA and post graduate Art Ed. Diploma. Although she has worked and taught in a variety of mediums, her passion for over 20 years is with Beeswax Encaustic techniques. “I absolutely love the luminosity, textures and expressions Encaustic allows. It is simply a medium like no other.”
She has taught at The Haliburton School of Art & Design for over 20 years and in various gallery settings in Ontario. Although presently showing her work online, she has exhibited in many galleries in Ontario, Canada, the US and once In Japan. She shares her life and studio with her partner Graham and her enthusiastic Golden Sassy.
