STUDIO 201 is an artist collective located in Peterborough Ontario run entirely by volunteer members. Our aim is to bring together aspiring and professional artists in a supportive space and to support the growth of local arts and culture. We offer open studios in life drawing, portraiture, and landscape, as well as providing artist-instructed workshops and courses, and an en plein air painters group.

We have member and non-member rates for all open studios, courses and workshops.

This course will focus on using bold, warm color temperatures to show depth in foliage and create an atmosphere. Students will learn to use loose strokes and impressionistic and abstract techniques; a process Marissa incorporates into all her paintings. The workshop consists of step-by-step instructions, with everyone working on the same image.
